We were honoured to sponsor and attend the Burton Mail Heroes Awards for the third year running.
The event is to celebrate and recognise people from East and South Staffordshire who have gone that extra mile for others or shown incredible courage and dedication to make a real difference.
It was a fabulous evening, with a total of 30 inspirational finalists present at the home of Burton Albion, the Pirelli Stadium, having to be whittled down to only 10 overall winners and the Hero of Heroes Award...

We have now totalled all the donations received from Murray’s Memory walk and would like to send a big thank you to all those who gave money on the day of sent it in afterwards, the final count was £274.

We made a trip to the Alzheimer’s Society to give them the cheque and they couldn’t thank us enough. Murrays have joined forces with Findern Footpaths and Conservation Group to provide people with an opportunity to remember and talk about their loved ones whilst walking in the lovely village of Findern.

For many people weekends can be a difficult time when they are affected by the passing of a loved one. So, we would like to invite people to join us for a short walk on Saturday 28th September, with an opportunity to leave a message on our Memory Tree.

Murray's were honoured to attend the National Memorial Arboretum for the unveiling of the Catenian Memorial, to remember all those Catenians, their families and friends who suffered, were wounded or have given their lives in conflicts since their foundation in 1908.

This is a permanent memorial which was blessed on Saturday 13th July 2019 at the Arboretum in Staffordshire by the Archbishop of Birmingham, His Grace Bernard Longley.
